I’m too sexy for this website.
Hello World.
I have been a fan of machinima films for quite some time, especially notable series Red vs. Blue (which has been featured on The Patch before).
It would seem that the popular online game World of Warcraft is flavour of the month in the world of machinima (I featured another WoW film last week), as today I have another short clip made with the game. This one is set to the classic Right Said Fred song, "I'm Too Sexy".
Oh my!
Hello World.
I apologise in advance for the following image. I simply had nothing better to do.
What is the Internet really for?
Hello World.
This video features a cheesy-sounding stage musical song. It features animation made up from World of Warcraft. It also happens to be one of the funniest videos ever made.
Not so much of a language warning on this one as there is a content warning. It’s definitely adult-themed.
Audience Interaction!
Hello World.
As many of you will know, I often get an itchin’ fo some theme changin’. Every week, Wordpress releases more wonderful themes, which doesn’t help my addiction at all.
I’ve reached that point again, where nothing in the current design seems to work, and I just have to change. But before I do, I want your help.
You are going to decide the way The Cabbage Patch looks. Do you want it plainer or more fancy-lookin’? Want more stuff or less stuff in the sidebar(s)? Change the theme or keep it? Or perhaps just replace that green at the top with a nicer colour?
I want your feedback as to how this here baby of mine should grow up.
“Now I will fight the door…”
Hello World.
This is one of the most creative advertisements I’ve seen in a long time (and believe me, I’ve seen a lot of ads lately - you try studying damned advertising). You have to watch all the way to the end, because it may not be all that it seems at first.
Like Pokemon. Only better. And underwater.
Hello World.
Looking back through my Games Archive, I realised it’s been a while since I have posted a game up here. Today, I shall rectify that.
Flow is a very unusual game. You play as a strange snake-like creature, whose goal is to eat every other creature around, and consequently evolve into a bigger and better snake-like creature.
I advise you read the instructions first, because it can be a little confusing, but overall Flow is rather addictive and very fun.
Shameless self-promotion! Please?
Hello World.
Some of you may have noticed that I have updated some of the side bar links with graphics instead of boring old text links. I created some of these buttons myself (for sites that didn’t supply one) with this nifty little site.
Well, while I was at it, I created one for
, which you can find down there on the right under “Link To Me”. I would greatly appreciate any one who runs their own site and who likes The Cabbage Patch to put that graphic on their page somewhere and link it over here.
Pretty please with sugar on top?
Web Service Spotlight - Newsvine
Hello World.
Each Wednesday Whenever I have a chance, I will be featuring a different “Web 2.0” website and providing a sort of mini-review. These may include new services that are better than their competitors, sites that are unique and do things differently, or simply sites that stand out as being useful.

This week, I am featuring the recently released news website, Newsvine.
I believe, sir, that he may in fact be the Juggernaut.
Hello World.
This video was provided by “Mex” in a comment on a previous post. It is an edited episode of X-Men that has been over-dubbed with pimp voices.
There is a very, very strong language warning on this one. If you are easily offended by bad language, don’t even consider watching this video.
