Hello World.
I have recently added a few Google ads at the bottom of the side bar. I’m trying to keep them as unobtrusive as possible by putting them right at the bottom of the bar so as not to get in the way of any legitimate content and by using colours which blend in fairly well with the site.
What I’m asking is that any of you who are using an ad-blocking system (such as the Adblock or Adblock Plus extensions for Firefox) turn it off for this site. Depending on which program you are using, there should be some way of adding blog.patchofcabbages.com as an exception so that the few ads will appear when you view the page.

I don’t think you get any money unless people click on the ads - which to encourage would be against the rules . . . but I can encourage it all I like.

I very nearly bought advertising space on dapatch explaining that Jerry Likes Men, but it wanted a $10 activation fee, which is just too high a price to pay for the bleeding obvious.
