Perturbing Podcast Problem

Hello World.
I have been attempting to finalise and upload the last episode of the SURG recordings as you have all been requesting, but I have run into a rather large problem. A majority of the recording (over half) is unsalvageable. It is mostly silence which, when amplified, becomes static. No matter what I do to it, I can’t make it audible.
Therefore I pose this question - is it worth while for me to cut together a makeshift episode (probably around 20 minutes of actual show) or to simply abandon this one? If you really want it, I’ll work on it, but otherwise I won’t bother.

Is the recording shit on Sheridan’s iPod, or has it become shittied after being transferred around?
If you can cut out the silence (lazily) and whack it on MegaUploads or somesuch, I’ll take it as it is. Probably no use in making a post about it.
This is going into the HB/Fletcher SURG Election Campaign next year - proper recording facilities.
I’ve downloaded the file twice to eliminate the possibility that it had been corrupted at my end, and that doesn’t seem to be the case.
I’ll wait to see if anybody else wants to hear it, but it is my opinion that this is not podcast worthy material. I’d rather save my server space and bandwidth for something else.
Can u post it just long enough for people to download it and then take it off again? That would be good. I think that it is definately worth posting if it doesn’t cost u too much space.
To tell you the truth I have no idea if it was shit due to my incompetence, as that episode was all a matter of leaving the contraption next to the window (which normally has good reception) on record, so I wouldn’t be surprised. If that’s the case - sorry guys, and I’ll check it out when I get home.

How bout you leave it on 1 day after the last download - and whoever downloads it has to leave a comment saying theyve done so - that way you’ll know when it’s irrelevant.
