SURGfm… dot org?

Hello World.

Our very own TomHB recently got himself elected as Vice President of the Sydney University Radio Group (SURG), and what was the first thing he did?  Set them up with a website of course!  Point your computer over to http://www.surgfm.org/ (after you’ve finished reading The Patch, naturally) to see all the latest news and information regarding our favourite not-quite-on-the-air radio station.  Over there you’ll find information as to you how you can be a part of SURG and what it’s all about.

If you’re wondering what all this SURG business is, you can check out our previous coverage and involvement with this organisation.

Back… With a vengeance!

Hello World.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Birthday, and whatever other holidays I’ve missed while I was away.  And by away I of course mean not posting.

There are some exciting things coming up in the next few weeks on The Patch, including, but not limited to, a new photo project, some more spotlights/discussions/articles, and a lot more games and videos with which to whittle away the hours.  More info on it all as it comes.

I have made a promise to myself to update far more often than I have been, and with a wider range of content.  I encourage you all to hassle me if I get slack about it again.

Welcome to 2007 - the year of the cabbage!
