Poem

A slow introduction,
generating imagery,
emotion, feelings.

The words scroll across the page,
and down.
They relay meaning,
but none is discerned.

Is it abstract?
Is it linear?
It will be soon.
It will be both.

The words get stranger.
Sentences shorter.

The lines are -
disjointed, and-
quick.

The pace picks up.
More urgent.
Quick.
Short.
Tense.

A meaningless yet poignant ending.

Duck.  Rabbit.  Blue.

Last year, I got really bored during a poetry lecture.
