I’ll get you next time… cat!
Hello World.
Trap the Cat is a game that tells you what it’s all about right there in the title.
The goal is to trap the cat by clicking on the light dots, turning them dark. The cat will take one hop after every click, but only onto a light dot. If it gets to the edge of the board, you lose.
Simple. Difficult. Fun.

Make the little ant-man fly!
Hello World.

Manifold is a fun little game about gravity. Actually, that makes it sound like one of those boring “edutainment” games they made us play in primary school. No, Manifold is puzzle game in which you must move your little ant-man creature across various perils, using “anomalies” which make gravity go in different directions.
The controls and concept are explained more fully in the game, which you can play here.

I has Invisible Cursor!
Hello World.
Cursor Invisible is a simple flash game which tests your abilities with the mouse.
The concept is simple: Try to smash as many of the circles as possible, without clicking the background. The trick is, as the title suggests, you can’t see your mouse pointer.
My current high score: 113. Post yours in the comments below.
Also, for those of you who didn’t get the title, see Lolcats.
Hee hee… it was bookmarked as “game with balls”
Hello World.
Shuffle is a simple game which plays a little like a simple version of snooker. Kinda. Well, not really.
The aim is to knock all of the yellow balls off the board using your red balls. If “Yellow” knocks all yours out first, however, you lose. Lose four times and it’s game over.
The idea behind this game is, as you can see, incredibly simple. It has managed to keep me entertained for hours, however.
Turn That Brightly-Coloured, Square, Cartoonish Frown Upside Down
Hello World.
I learnt something new this week. I learnt that there is very little in this world that is more satisfying than dragging rectangles around cartoon squares and watching their little faces light up in joy before they disappear into the great unknown. I learnt this by playing Blocky. A lot.
Hi, my name is David and I’m a Blocky-holic.

Ooh, look! That ball’s all curvy!
Hello World.
In recent weeks I’ve become addicted to Curveball. It’s actually quite old for a flash game - I’ve seen it everywhere - but it’s truly hard to stop playing.
Click “Start Game” to, uh, start the game.
Missile Game 3D
Hello World.
Another game for you to whittle away the hours with today - Missile Game 3D. Unoriginal title, yet very fun game.
The aim is to use the mouse to pilot a missile through a tunnel, whilst avoiding a series of spinning obstacles.

Gaming the way it used to be done
Hello World.
Some of you may remember the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) gaming console, although for many of my readers it was before our time (it was, after all, released in Australia in the year I was born). Regardless of whether you played it the first time around, you now have the chance to (re)live the golden era of 8-bit gaming with vNES.

Many of the 420 games available will be familiar to anyone who has ever owned a NES or an old-school GameBoy. These are not cheap knock-offs, they are the real games in full.
You will need a modern browser (try Firefox) and Java 5 or later to play these games.
Are u ready for chaos? Well, punk? Are ya?
Hello World.
Virus 2 is a kind of puzzle-type game where the aim is to turn the entire board of coloured blocks all the same colour. Switching to a colour will “collect” all the pieces of that colour that are touching your pieces. I don’t really know what else to say about it other than that, so go ahead and play it below.
This one should work directly in the page, but knowing my luck it probably won’t work for everyone. Make sure you have all the latest versions of Flash and Shockwave, and are using the latest version of whatever browser you use. If all else fails, try playing it here.
Kak-kak-kak… Fly-by!
Hello World.
In a recent comment, James asked for more games, saying “it’s been years” since the last one. Well, the last one was, in fact, only a month ago. You can find it, and all the other games I’ve posted, by exploring the Games category or using the search box on the sidebar.
But, seeing as at least one of you are requesting another game, I bring you one now.

It’s called SWFROADS and it is a flash-based copy of the classic Skyroads we all played in years gone by.
If you don’t remember Skyroads, the premise is simple - you are a small space ship of some kind racing along the eponymous skyroads. You must navigate your way down these tracks by jumping and strafing. Easy.
